Yes, I am. You stated something which was immediately disproved by their previous actions. All you should have stated is that they are keeping their options open on this occasions, not suggesting that anyone who wants to keep a manager sorts their contract up before the end of the season, because that simply is not true.

I'm not. What I'm saying is that by waiting to the end of the season they keep their opinions open. This does not mean they intend to renew, though I appreciate there is a danger they will.

Yeah, but I think you'll agree that was in a slightly different context - we were newly promoted and his task was to secure top-flight status. This time he may well be identified as the risk-factor rather than the solution, and in my opinion rightly so.
